Top Gifts for RCIA Catechumens this Easter

Easter is almost here! And along with Easter, we have so many new candidates getting ready to be baptized into the Catholic Church. Do you know an RCIA candidate or catechumen preparing for initiation at the Easter Vigil? I’ve put together my top suggestions for gifts for RCIA catechumens to help them celebrate coming into full communion with the Church.
Note: I’m going to use the words candidate and catechumen somewhat interchangeably here, though their definitions do vary.
Gifts for RCIA Candidates
Books

If your RCIA candidate already has a Bible, I’ve found some great additions for any Catholic’s home library.

Rosaries

This list of RCIA gifts wouldn’t be complete without a Miraculous Medal. To me, the most compelling reason to wear a Miraculous Medal is as a reminder to ask for help. As your catechumen fully enters the Catholic Church, it seems fitting to help them remember they are never alone on their spiritual path. The Blessed Mother is always listening to those who seek her.
Face Masks
This wouldn’t be a list of gifts for RCIA candidates in 2021 without face masks!
